How is your charity reaching out to the next generation?

There has been plenty written about the influence that millenials are having on the workplace and society. Overall, they desire work-life balance and are increasingly unsettled about the future. And in the same way that they are reshaping the workplace, they are reinventing philanthropy.

With millennials beginning to enjoy more disposable income, as they pay off their student loans and acquire patterns and behaviours that are more likely to last into their 40s and 50s, it is important for charities to recognise the differences in how younger generations behave, what their preferences are and why these qualities give them an outsized influence on the philanthropic space.
