Racial Diversity in the Events Industry

Opinion survey

Thank you for agreeing to participate in our research survey: ‘How Racially Diverse is the Events Industry?’ Your input is greatly appreciated.

In this survey, by racial diversity we are referring to a person’s skin colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, as defined by the Equality Act 2010.

All data collected will remain completely anonymous and will only be used to develop a report on racial diversity in our sector. We believe not enough data exists in this area which makes it difficult for us all to benchmark and make much needed improvements. Hopefully, this will enable our industry to develop, and make the work we create more diverse in terms of workforce, audience and representation.

With the information collected in this research, we hope that we can pinpoint the areas of improvement with manageable takeaways for event professionals across the industry. This can then be repeated as required to ensure that we measure change and hold each other accountable, pushing forwards together.

There are 27 questions and it will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. To receive a copy of the published report, please email calum.dilieto@haymarket.com.
