As global lockdowns are slowly lifted, more and more businesses are being encouraged to reopen to help limit the damage to the economy. However, due to several months of inactivity, this will not be straightforward as the whole supply chain will need to be re-energised in order to keep stock moving.
As well as the obvious health implications, there is an emphasis on getting businesses moving again. However, the new way of operating may come at the cost of other initiatives focused on things like sustainability as businesses look to save money and operate as efficiently as possible.
